Anna MacLeod becomes new CEO of VARTA

The Board of the Victorian Assisted Reproductive Treatment Authority has appointed Anna MacLeod as the Authority’s new Chief Executive Officer.  

Anna has extensive experience of risk and regulation in the public and private health sectors. She has held senior roles at Avant Insurance, the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority, Austin Health and Monash IVF. She is also on two public health service boards - Northern Health and Castlemaine Health.

Anna replaces Louise Johnson who departed VARTA in February after 15 years with the Authority. The Board has thanked Ms Johnson for her enormous contribution to VARTA.
