Chapter 8. Technology is increasingly used in all spheres of life, including in healthcare. In this chapter we summarize what is known about when and how technology can enhance communication in medically assisted reproduction (MAR) care and how this might improve the patient experience. While we found that technology benefits many aspects of MAR care and communication, others are better managed through compassionate and holistic person-to-person interaction.
